The desk · who we are

About us

PixelLedger · Florianópolis, SC · Brazil

Most games coverage prints the announcement and moves on. We started PixelLedger to do the opposite: treat Latin-American studios, launches and funding rounds as a market that can be measured, and put the number behind every headline. The lens is regional, the method is data, and the bias is toward showing our working rather than asking you to take it on trust.

What we cover

Four running desks: Studios, Funding, Launches and Analysis. We track who is hiring and who is restructuring, we log every round and the valuation it implies, we follow titles from wishlist to launch-week sell-through, and we roll it all into long-form analysis. When a headline lands, our job is to tell you the number behind it and what that number means for the market next quarter.

How we work

We report first and analyse second. A story starts with a fact — a filing, a round, a launch chart — and we build the context around it. Where we model something, we publish the model. Where we estimate, we say so and show the range. We would rather be usefully specific and occasionally corrected than vaguely safe. When we get something wrong, we fix it in the open and note what changed.

Who reads us

Founders raising or planning to. Investors sizing the region. Studio leads benchmarking a launch. Journalists and analysts who want a primary source rather than a rewrite. And plenty of players who simply like knowing how the industry actually runs. PixelLedger Pro exists for the people who need that detail before it becomes obvious — the deep-dives, the quarterly market report, the weekly data briefing and the full archive.

Independence

We are reader-funded. Pro subscriptions pay for the reporting, which keeps our incentives pointed at accuracy rather than access. We do not sell coverage, and analysis on this site is informational, not investment advice. If you want to reach the desk, write to [email protected] or use the contact page.
